More Windows Mobile 6.5 Screenshots Reveal Pre-Installed Cloud-Based Services

Well, well, look what we have here. The latest round of Windows Mobile 6.5 leaked screenshots reveals several new things:

1. The keyboard toggle will be more predominant and will look like a third button.

2. If you turn off the honeycomb interface (which, as we learn from the source, may require more robust hardware), you get a 4×4 grid of icons with thick gray scroll bars. Windows Mobile as it is now has a 3×4 grid, with less predominant scroll bars.

3. Windows Media player has been revamped and has an interface that looks similar to the Windows Mobile 7 leaks. That said, its interface is not consistent with other parts of Windows Mobile (but it sure does look spiffy!).

4. Microsoft MyPhone, that is, the upcomming cloud-based syncing service, will come preinstalled on WinMo 6.5.

5. Also coming preinstalled is the application Marketplace, which we know little about at this point but should see at MWC.

6. Pocket Outlook may be replaced (or supplemented by) Outlook Live, which appears to be a cloud-based mail solution that lets you manage multiple email accounts from your device and over the web.

7. The oversized X button has yet to be replaced by something more…elegant.

Props to WMExperts for the find, and click on to PPCGeeks for the discussion thread where the screenshot originated.
