Microsoft Marketplace to Support Windows Mobile 6.0, 6.1, 6.5

Previously, we had known that Marketplace for Mobile, Microsoft’s applications storefront, would support Windows Mobile devices running 6.1 and 6.5, but now the firm is adding support for Windows Mobile 6.0. While the news is welcomed for 6.0 users, certain software may require a newer core OS and may be add confusion to newer users who may not know what OS their device runs; after all, Microsoft only advertises Windows Phone as being powered by Windows Mobile, unlike desktop OSes where you say your computer runs Vista–a more specific OS version of Windows.
