Windows Marketplace, the little app store icon for Microsoft’s Windows Mobile, would display a coming soon page when clicked if you happen to be running a Windows Mobile 6.5 cooked ROM, but a lucky user reported to WMExperts that the store was happily open for business. Perhaps this is a limited time test, but it looks like the lucky user was able to download Pandora and install it on his device.
Today I clicked on it and it said CAB needed to be installed. After install, voila! Marketplace open for business. I already downloaded Pandora successfully. There are not too many fun apps yet and most of them come with a charge. But the layout of the store was very finger friendly and very snappy.
