Mangrove Windows Mobile 6.5.1 Internet Tablet

The Mangrove Windows Mobile tablet takes on a 7-inch display that puts it squarely into the mobile internet devices (MID) category complete with 3G, WiFi, and Windows Mobile 6.5.1 that turns the soft button menus into pictures and icons for easy access! We’ve previously talked about Windows Mobile 6.5.1 making things a bit more finger-friendly, and Brandon had demoed the leaked ROM on some devices, but it looks like the Mangrove, made by C-motech, may be the first one out the gate to support 6.5.1 natively.

The Mangrove will be powered by a Snapdragon processor and have a WVGA screen. Another wireless standard on board is WiMax, essentially 4G mobile data that is supported by Sprint in the US.

If you’re interested, the device will hit the first quarter 2010.
