The new Kin phones and service were just announced a few days ago, but already the Kin Facebook page has over 30,000 fans. Earlier this morning it was around 24,000 fans.

Of course, most of us smartphone power users don’t see much appeal in the Kin, but we said that about the original Danger Sidekick devices as well. Could these new phones actually be a hit despite the naysayers?
