Is This the Omnia HD on Windows Mobile?

Not much has happened on the Samsung Windows Mobile touchscreen front since the release of the original

WMExperts, which is reporting the story originally posted over at the::unwired, states that the device is GSM-bound and goes by the name of GT i8000, which is a big jump from the i900 series of the Omnia. The specs make note that the handset is quad-band GSM and tri-band HSPA 3G, which makes it compatible in the USA on AT&T’s 3G spectrum (sorry T-Mobile users) for high speed data access. It isn’t known whether this will be a touchscreen handset or a variant of the Samsung Jack running the non-touch Standard edition of the OS.
