The long-rumored HTC Vision with its sliding QWERTY, WVGA touchscreen, and high-end features, was recently spotted in a photo. The device, which like T-Mobile’s first ever Android release and also made by HTC, the G1, is an homage to the sliding QWERTY form factor and as such may be called the G1 Blaze by the carrier. Could this be part of T-Mobile’s Project Emerald plans? Perhaps it will mark the carrier’s high-end smartphones, much like Verizon has branded the Droid line for Android.
The device fits in with HTC’s planned roadmap, which says that the European-based Vision will be headed out in Q4 while its cousin, the HTC Vanguard, will be destined for T-Mobile.
