The HTC Snap, the latest Windows Mobile Standard device with a trackball and the Inner Circle feature that presumably won’t make it to the T-Mobile iteration of the HTC unlocked device, was reviewed today by Slash Gear. Slash Gear found the keyboard and HTC’s innovative Inner Circle feature particularly good.

Inner Circle is a feature that filters out emails based on a select number of contacts so you won’t be inundated with emails. For instance, if you program Inner Circle to just display emails from your mom, wife, and kids, then only those emails will show up if you hit the Inner Circle hardware button.

The relatively easier to use Windows Mobile Standard (compared to Professional), familiar trackball, and useful keyboard should make the HTC Snap more competitive against BlackBerry devices.
