HTC released some more details on its sales for 2008, which looked good considering the state of the economy. According to TechNews, the figures implied that the Taiwanese manufacturer shipped half of the 20 million Windows Mobile shipments in 2008. The firm shipped over 12 million phones, with over 70% of that number being 3G devices. Revenues were up 29 percent, earning the company nearly a billion dollars in profit.
