HTC Growth Slowing Down in 2009

The firm had originally predicted a 20 percent growth outlook for this year according to Electronista. The company, although guiding investors towards a lower expectation of its current year earnings, state that it still expects double digit growth in its business.
Chou had said that this year's CES in Las Vegas, it had the greatest amount of enthusiasm for its hardware lineup seen at an American event. This could be attributable to its aggressive re-branding campaign for the States where devices are sold with the HTC branding, rather than being rebadged for different retailers. An example of this is that the Tilt was known as the "AT&T Tilt" on AT&T where as the Fuze is known as the "HTC Fuze" on the carrier now. The re-branding and striking new phone designs that emerged with the Diamond help to attract consumers to Windows Mobile.
HTC is also the manufacturer behind the Android-based T-Mobile G1.
