HTC FLO TV is an HTC Imagio Sans Windows Mobile

FLO TV is essentially a pocketable flatscreen television–okay maybe that’s a stretch, but it is a portable television that uses the same MediaFLO technology from Qualcomm that the HTC Imagio uses on Verizon Wireless. The 4.4 x 3.0 x 5.0 inch television set will stream content from providers such as ESPN, MTV, NBC, and others for a monthly subscription cost of $9 and the device itself will cost $250.

Essentially, the portable television is like the HTC Imagio without the Windows Mobile OS and mobile wireless behind it. The device also has a kickstand (like the Imagio) and a capacitive touchscreen. This device is also made by HTC. The device may be useful to those who want to watch television while away, but may not need a smartphone or expensive data plan.
