HTC Bravo: The Non-Google Nexus One Android Handset

It was rumored that the HTC Bravo would be coming to the market, but then Google released the Nexus One phone as its own that is made by HTC and compatible with T-Mobile USA. We thought that would be the Bravo, but it seems that the legacy of the Bravo code name may live on beyond the Google phone, and we may see an Android “with Google” experience phone branded by HTC come to market someday soon. The Bravo, as it stands, will have hardware buttons rather than the touch sensitive buttons on the Nexus One, and HTC will also forego the trackball of the Google phone for a diminutive circular optical trackpad if the purported pictures that were leaked hold to be true.

Specs-wise, the Nexus One and the code named Bravo will be very similar. The latter will add 720p support and native DivX decoding. It is also rumored to be destined for T-Mobile UK. Two similar handsets for two different sides of the Atlantic.
