Major Windows Mobile applications online distributor, and somewhat of Microsoft’s unofficial App Store, Handango is partnering with Best Buy to bring applications to Best Buy stores. MobileTopSoft is reporting that Handango will offer applications for S60, Windows Mobile, Palm, and BlackBerry platforms.

Moreover, under the agreement, Users can now buy the apps for their devices at Best Buy stores using Best Buy’s in-store digital Mobile Genie system. In addition, Handango’s In-Hand client, custom branded for Best Buy, will be downloaded directly onto each device so customers can continue to purchase apps with Handango and Best Buy even after they leave the store.

Best Buy will also sell apps pre-loaded onto memory cards that will negate the need for OTA downloads or synchronization to get applications onto a user’s device.
