Google to Place Ads on Android, iPhone, Windows Mobile Apps

After completing its purchase of AdMob, a firm that places mobile ads, Google says it will place ads with its mobile applications on smartphones, which may include Android, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, and Symbian apps. Google currently makes multiple applications for many different operating systems, including Google Maps, Google Search, and Google Voice among a few others. Be prepared for ads to start sprouting up on more mobile applications soon as Google attempts to replicate its success with browser and desktop advertising in the mobile space.
