Google Puts the Cap on Android Market

Everyone's promoting their applications store with Microsoft being the latest to unveil the Windows Marketplace--previously dubbed Skymarket, an online applications store for Windows Phones. Google has released details on for what developers can charge for paid applications on the Android Market. The lowest a developer can charge is $0.99 and the maximum is $200. Sorry to the developer who created the ridiculously useless $999 I Am Rich application for the iPhone as Google is a bit more middle class at $200.

According to Ars Technica, the applications should be available to US and UK users next week with a wider roll out to come.
