Google Nexus One Tackles Voice

With the Motorola Droid and the introduction of Android 2.0, Google introduced a very integrated voice search that could also get you to places via Google Maps with Navigation. With the Nexus One–Google’s own branded phone made by HTC for T-Mobile USA–voice just went bigger, allowing you to dictate into text entry fields and write emails.

Google already introduced Google Goggles, a visual search application for Android which makes use of the camera. With voice, visual, and touch, Google’s giving users more ways to interact with their handsets.

Also of note, Vodafone and Verizon Wireless should also be getting their own versions of the Nexus One in the Spring.
