GMail Goes IMAP

GMail, known for offering widescale POP access to email has now upgraded their service to offering users free IMAP access. This is great news for Windows Mobile users without Exchange synchronization to keep their inboxes up to date.

Hopefully, the arrival of IMAP will mean some folder access for GMail.

If you haven’t checked this out, log in from your desktop and go to settings. There should be an IMAP option.

GMail is even putting up detailed setup instructions on their post, albeit on an iPhone screen.
