Full Version of Adobe Flash 9 Finally Makes it to a Nokia Phone

Nokia finally unveiled its N900 internet tablet officially, a device that when slid open reveals a QWERTY that will make it competitive with the Touch Pro. The N900 runs Nokia's customized Maemo version of Linux and will feature a browser with Flash 9.4 support from Adobe!

To power the Adobe Flash plugin, the device will come with an ARM Cortex A8 processor, the same chip that's in the Palm Pre and Windows Mobile HTC Qilin that is headed to the Chinese market.

Other features include a 3.5-inch VGA resistive touch display, 32 GB of onboard memory with a micro-SD card for further expansion, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration support, 1 GB of RAM along with Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, TV out and an FM transmitter.

The device will be quad-band GSM/EDGE and 900/1700/2100MHz UMTS/HSPA for 3G. It will most likely hit T-Mobile in the USA soon.

Nokia has announced that the N900 will be available in select markets October for €500, though carrier subsidies should lower the price.
