It looks like Marketplace for Mobile has been scheduled to launch the same day as Windows Mobile 6.5. On October 6, 2009, users can also download some designer themes for their handsets from Windows Marketplace.

The designer themes, which were leaked and previewed earlier this year around the time of Windows Mobile 6.5 announcement at Mobile World Congress, will consist of designs from the following:

-Diane von Furstenberg

-Vera Wang

-Isaac Mizrahi

-Rock & Republic

-Ron Arad

The themes were only launched officially launched this week at New York Fashion Week. For geek chic fashionistas out there, the DVF theme is shown below running on a Windows Mobile 6.5 Touch Pro2. Again, the themes will be available on 10/6 for those interested on more customizations.
