It looks like HP may be kicking some life into the iPAQ brand again with its latest hire. The firm is rumored to have hired a former Palm director to work in its mobile unit, which includes netbooks, smartphones, and custom PC software.
The iPAQ line was probably one of the most recognized Pocket PC and Windows Mobile brand as a standalone PDA. The company was not able to replicate its PDA success in the smartphone business.
According to Electronista, there could be an Android netbook and smartphone in the works from HP.
