Flash is Coming to HTC Android G2 Device

With the next generation G2 replacing the T-Mobile G1, Android will soon get a push from a third party developer in adopting Adobe Flash support. Unfortunately, the push won’t come from Adobe officially. According to Gizmodo, a company by the name of BSQUARE will be porting a version of Flash to Android. No word if it’s a desktop-class version for the Android’s browser, a version of the Flash Player for playing locally stored SWF files, or a mobile version of Flash.

For more details, you can also read the official press release from BSQUARE.

Consumers may not be familiar with BSQUARE, but they have partnered with mobile device makers in the past, including providing SDIO drivers and software for Socket’s WiFi card, and a partner for Casio’s Cassiopedia BE300–now that is old school when you’re bringing up names like Casio for the Windows Mobile camp!
