First Symbian^3 Smartphone Will Not Come From Nokia

The first smartphone to inaugurate the next-generation Symbian^3 operating system will not be coming from Nokia according to a statement from the Symbian Foundation. Rather, an Asian smartphone manufacturer, whose name isn’t disclosed, will be releasing the first smartphone with Symbian^3. The phone is expected to launch in the third quarter and Nokia has announced the N8 smartphone for Symbian^3.
