Fashion: Windows Mobile Gets Chic with Tilting Armani and Samsung

If the cool designer themes aren’t really rocking it for you, Samsung and design house Giorgio Armani are teaming together with Steve Ballmer and team from Microsoft to deliver a fashionable design label Windows phone. If you’re fashion conscious and want to be geek chic, the Armani Windows Mobile 6.5 phone will feature a 3.5-inch AMOLED display, 8 GB of internal storage with microSd slot, GPS, and a 5-megapixel camera. It is wrapped in a black and copper design. Unfortunately, fashion has a price, and the phone doesn’t come cheap. $1030 is the asking price.

For a cheaper alternative, also using the copper design cue, might we suggest the T-Mobile Touch Pro2 in the US market–you can get that one subsidized for $350, though you’ll lose the gorgeous AMOLED display that looks so crisp and gorgeous on the Samsung Armani model and the 8 GB of storage, which can be easily supplanted with a high capacity memory card. Both models come with a tilting screen.
