Our European brethren have been able to get the Sony XPERIA X1 for quite some time, but due to some kinks, Sony’s North American availability of the handset has been limited, delayed, or postponed. The North American version, with AT&T compatible 3G bands, are labelled X1a. It looks like the handsets are now coming into stock for those eager American consumers. Engadget Mobile is reporting that the XPERIA X1 is now available online at SonyStyle, Sony’s online web portal. The device is listed as shipping tomorrow. Also of note is that the device is available at select North American Sony stores.
