Phones with navigation features or mobile TV functionalities may see a 14% tax on them if the new proposed European Union law passes. Under the new EU proposal, those phones will be classified as multi-functional devices. According to Engadget Mobile, Sony Ericsson and Nokia are both against the new law. Given everyone’s struggles, both consumers and manufacturers, a law would make electronics more costly.
