DoubleTwist Comes to T-Mobile for Android Media Sync

Many smartphone users will face the challenge of how to get their multimedia content onto their new smartphone device, either through the memory card (currently 16 GB maximum, though Samsung will introduce a 32 GB micro SDHC card soon) or in-built memory. For iPhone users, the answer is easy–use iTunes to synchronize songs, videos, playlists, and photos. For other platforms, there are third-party solutions–some of which are free and many are paid-for programs that reside on the desktop to perform similar functions. Now, T-Mobile is partnering up with DoubleTwist, a company that has a desktop synchronization by the same name, is bringing a sync solution to Android.

The deal between T-Mobile and DoubleTwist will mean that the software will come pre-bundled with T-Mobile’s Android handsets. The software will help you manage your music, photos, and videos on your device and will work much like iTunes.
