We’ve all been complaining of faulty promises from Microsoft that a new browser for Windows Mobile based on IE6 would be coming around, but Arne from the::unwired shows us that indeed, IE6 for Windows Mobile lives.
Arne implies that just as WinMo 6.1 was made available as an update to most WinMo 6 devices, the IE6 browser upgrade could see a similar update cycle.
The renders look pretty good and quite similar to how pages would appear on a desktop, but we fear that without the ability to zoom out, plus resize the pageview based on HTML tables (as Opera Mobile can do), IE6 could be another non-robust mobile browser, like the original Pocket Internet Explorer.
