Just like how the original Diamond had various styling and battery door options, the Diamond2 will have the same for different carriers and to fit different needs. There will be a shiny door option and a matte option, much like how the CDMA Diamond on Sprint uses the matte door option and Verizon Wireless has the shiny door option.
If you want the matte option, according to Engadget, you can buy it as an accessory for $35.
