Microsoft has just released a web app that is mostly a marketing ploy than anything else. The “Create Your Own Start Button” site instructs you to click on little circles that represent your life (top image). Then, the output it generates is one of those promotional Windows Phone button things. No, you can’t actually use the button on your phone (which would be cool and logical). Instead, the website instructs you to print out the button. We’re not sure exactly what you would do with your Start Button once you print it out.
