Clearwire’s 2 New WiMax 4G Smartphones for 2010 to be Self-Branded

We had reported that Clearwire had announced that it will be bringing two additional 4G WiMax smartphones to US, and it is now known that the devices will appear under Clearwire’s branding. Clearwire, of which Sprint owns a majority of the company, shares its 4G network with Sprint. The devices that were announced were not given any details other than the fact that one is to be made by Samsung and the other to be made by HTC.

For its part, Sprint has already announced that it will launch the HTC EVO 4G this summer–that device will be branded by HTC and Sprint.
