Remember when we asked how exactly do you multi-task?Tweakers.net managed to interview Charlie Kindel about Windows Phone 7 recently, and he gives us some answers about certain real-life user multi-tasking scenarios that we care about.
“For example if you have an application in the background a GPS position to other applications, can pass, it is required that the application can run in the background. For such scenarios, we build multi-tasking again.”
So it looks like, just because the initial release of Windows Phone 7 may not support full multi-tasking, Microsoft is not completely against it. It’s also interesting to note that native code applications may be allowed for certain scenarios as well… such as Adobe Flash support.
