Lenovo’s Lephone Android design offers the best of a hardware keyboard and the slim slate form factor in a nice convertible package. The hybrid design features a clamshell–like a laptop form factor–with easy capability to dock the tablet screen when you want the keyboard and remove the smartphone tablet when you want to go slim and sleek in slate mode. The design features a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and 3G, though this handset seems only China-bound for now, which is a shame since it is a nice design.

Additionally, the curvaceous keyboard features the directional pad right in the middle, so you don’t get an off-centered keyboard experience like on the Droid where the d-pad is placed on the right or on select Nokia devices like the N97 where the d-pad is on the left hand side.
