Celio: Turn Your PC Into a Mobile Companion, View Your Phone on a PC

Chuong Nguyen | April 1, 2009 1:01 PM

Celio’s REDFLY was dubbed a mobile companion because it served as a viewer and input mechanism for your smartphone, offering a bigger keyboard and larger screen. Now, you can have the comforts of the larger screen and more comfortable keyboard from your PC to view and enter information onto your smartphone. Celio will be releasing a software program for your laptop or desktop that allows you to view your smartphone’s contents at 800 x 480, 800 x 600, 1,024 x 600 or 1,024 x 768 resolution according to Engadget Mobile.

The viewer is available as a free download from Celio today; it is still in beta.

My question: if you already own a laptop, why wouldn’t you work off the laptop and just tether your smartphone for internet access? However, if you’re interested, stay tune for a pocketnow.com review of the software and how it works soon.
