The Windows Mobile 6.5 edition of the Diamond2 has hit AT&T retail stores as the HTC Pure, which could be seen as a competitor to the mobile TV enabled V-CAST HTC Imagio on rival Verizon Wireless. Neither devices are available for purchase at this time, and not a lot of information is given about the Pure though the Imagio should be available from Verizon Wireless online on October 6th.

The Pure will seemingly retain a 5-megapixel camera and come with a bright orange splash screen, which some are speculating to be the bright color for Windows Mobile 6.5. Hopefully, we’ll learn more on October 6 about this device and its larger cousin, the Tilt2, a Touch Pro2 variant also slated for AT&T.
