Of all the major Android manufacturers out there, Sony's been one of the most vocal when it comes to supporting the dev community, and a big part of those efforts has been Sony's work at making AOSP builds available for many of its models, phones and tablets alike. Remember the Sony Xperia T3? Yeah, so it's been a couple months since it launched, but the exceedingly-thin phone is finally now heading over to the United States, with its mid-range status and all. Apart from the Sony Xperia T3 US availability confirmation, Sony has also affirmed the US availability of an LTE-ready Xperia M2 model. Between iOS 8, Android 4.4.3, and the launch of new devices like Samsung's first Tizen smartphone, the Samsung Z, yesterday was a big one for smartphones.
