[Full Xperia S Review] The Xperia S, one of the very first devices under the new "Sony" branding (rather than the former "Sony Ericsson") was announced at CES 2012. The Xperia S comes loaded with Google Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread with Sony's custom UI, and is expected to update to Android 4.0 in Q2 2012. Inside is a dual core 1.5GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Its 720 x 1280 HD resolution screen measures 4.3-inches diagonal. The Xperia S smartphone features two cameras, one 1.3-megapixel front facing camera and a rear facing 12-megapixel camera with LED flash. As much as we'd wish that all the recent leaks of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi, aka Ark HD were more than just leaks, but we'll have to settle for now. More images have surfaced recently, along with more spec information, though most of it is stuff you already knew about. The Ark HD plans to provide a 720p resolution 4.3" LCD, a 12 megapixel camera with 1080p video capabilities, 1GB of RAM with a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage due to the lack of microSD expansion. A couple of days ago we heard about a certain Sony (Ericsson) Xperia Arc HD and we couldn't help but wonder whether the phone is the same as the Nozomi rumored earlier. There are a couple of pictures of a certain LT26i showing off the front and the back of the device as well as some benchmarks and the About screen. The device packs a 720p resolution screen with 320 dpi which is rumored to have 4.3 inches in diagonal.
