Got a Sony Xperia arc S, Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia ion, Xperia acro S, Xperia go, Xperia P, Xperia J, Xperia miro, Xperia sola, Xperia tipo, or Xperia U? You'll be sad to find out that Sony is apparently preparing to no longer offer support for these models, some of which, while not the most recent ones, still have a tad to go until they reach a two-year-old venerable age. Two months ago Sony published information about its Jelly Bean update plans, when approximately will the refresh hit and which devices should be those that get it. Now Sony has published new information about the matter "including uplift to Jelly Bean Android 4.1 for 2012 Xperia". February and March is where you should expect and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update notification on your Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V. The Xperia P is part of Sony's Xperia line-up for this year so far, alongside the Xperia S flagship which we reviewed. It was announced at this year's MWC in Barcelona alongside the Xperia U and we've had our hands-on time with the phone while at the show, at that time running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
