The Xperia is dead, long live the Xperia. And again. It still seems as though we're running through a transition period in Sony's mobile strategy like how one "runs" through a ball pit. Even though Sony has done an amazing job at bringing software updates to its Xperia lineup ever since the launch of the Xperia Z, not everything can be perfect. Up to this point, those Xperia Z flagships that were launched two years ago are still eligible for software updates to Android 4.4 KitKat, but if you think the mid-tier models are going to have the same luck, think again. In all the sea of announcements from Computex, today Sony introduces Xperia M Android phone. It is a mid-ranger which will also be available in a dual-SIM setup, as the Xperia M dual. Black, white, purple (and yellow for the single SIM version) will be the color choices and the phone, together with the dual-SIM version, will land worldwide starting the third quarter of the year.
