Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia UL: it's been starting to feel like Sony's transformed itself into an assembly line for 1080p Androids lately. Despite all this focus on high-end, high-res handsets, it's also managed to continue addressing other market segments, and back in March we learned about a couple more conservative models, the Xperia L and Xperia SP. First there was CES, which brought us the Xperia Z and ZL from Sony -- one which we recently reviewed, another one which we'll very soon review -- then there was MWC with nothing notable and now, post or in-between major shows, Sony has officially announced two new Xperia phones joining the 2013 line-up: the Xperia L and Xperia SP. Sony's HuaShan -- interestingly, Huashan was also the name of an HTC phone for China -- with model number C530x will probably be soon unveiled as the Xperia SP. The list, which appears of the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information's website, also seems to list a certain Xperia L. According to reports, the Xperia SP should be the higher-end among the two, packing a 720p display, and a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocking at 1.7GHz.
