    Recent rumors of Google preparing to acquire WhatsApp appear to be just that, rumors. Companies don't usually comment on speculation but it seems that WhatsApp felt the need to debunk this one, denying involvement in discussions to sell the company to Google. There was even a price tag attached to previous hear-say: $1 billion. However, WhatsApp’s business development head Neeraj Arora came on record to state that the company is not in talks with Google.
