Ever since purchasing Motorola, Lenovo has enjoyed a higher profile in smartphone circles, but it's still not a company we'd really peg as a leader, living out on the bleeding edge of tech advancements. Instead, we see it releasing some quality budget phones, while being late to the party when it comes to things like wearables and Windows Phone hardware. We still may be days away from the official start of CES 2014, but smartphone OEMs sure like to grab the spotlight when they can, so you had better believe that we'll be seeing plenty of these companies trying to get a leg up on the competition by making some of their announcements a little early. Today that means some news from Lenovo, which has a few new 4.7-to-6-inch phones all ready for us to check out. Is Lenovo a company we should all start paying a lot more attention to when it comes to smartphones and tablets? Lately it's been cranking out some very interesting designs, like that cheap $300 Windows 8.1 tablet, the Android laptop with a permanently attached keyboard, or the Yoga tablets with their rotating kickstands.
