The Pantech Vega Iron sprung up on us out of nowhere earlier this month, and what we heard made it out to be a pretty solid high-end Android, with a "bezel-less" edge-to-edge screen. Rumors suggested that Pantech would announce the phone on April 18, and sure enough, today the Vega Iron goes official. Unfortunately, not all of its specs live up to what was rumored. Take that no-bezel design, for instance. Now, we're willing to give Pantech a pass here since no one really expected absolutely no bezel whatsoever, and instead we've just gotten a fantastically thin one: we're talking 2.4 ...

As we close in on that date, some possible images of the Vega Iron have arrived for us to check out. We've got to say – this ...

Overnight we told you about a rumored upcoming Pantech smartphone – we know, it can be hard to care about Pantech, but this model IM-A870, supposedly an essentially bezel-free five-incher, sounded more interesting than most. Today we get some new details on the phone, including info on when it might launch. First up, we now have a name for the flagship, which could arrive as the Vega Iron. Its five-inch screen would unsurprisingly be a 1080p component, and the handset would be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 running at 1.7GHz. It would have 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, and ...
