    Almost a month or so ago, Asus started to roll out the official Ice Cream Sandwich update for the original Transformer, the TF101. Still, there were a couple of bugs on the system after the refresh but there are now reports talking about a recent bugfix update. Build 9.2.1.17 is what you'll get after the small refresh but there is no changelog attached.     Just yesterday we reported that users in Taiwan were the first to get the official Ice Cream Sandwich refresh available on their Asus Transformer TF101 tablets. Starting today, users in North America (US and Canada) who own WiFi versions of this tablet will also receive an over-the-air notification, according to reports; in case it hasn't reached your device yet, make sure to manually check for the update.     Recently we've heard about the first custom ROM for the Asus Transformer Prime -- now that it has an unlockable bootloader -- and now the manufacturer is making an official Ice Cream Sandwich announcement, though for a previous model.     Despite promising an official Android 4.x Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Transformer TF101 to land this month, Asus didn't deliver just yet. Not that we're already at the end of the month but a recent Facebook post seems to shed some light on the upcoming refresh. According to Asus Singapore, the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Asus Transformer "will be ready within the Feb/March 2012 period". Best case scenario: a couple of weeks.
