Research In Motion has kicked-off a new upgrade program that will let owners of certain BlackBerry handsets trade up to a newer model at a discount, offering up to a $120 credit towards the purchase of a new phone. The program combines two distinct upgrade credits: one for trading-in your old phone, and one for buying a new one. Verizon has released a firmware update for the BlackBerry Storm2 which promises a number of fixes and enhancements, but some users are reporting that OS 184.108.40.2065 may bring as many new problems as it cures.
