Last July, Spotify started allowing smartphone users in the United States to access its streaming radio service through the company's Android app. While Spotfiy offered different membership tiers, including an invite-based free trial, in order to stream music to your phone, Spotify required users to pay up. Spotify and Android users were left in the dark for quite some time but at the end of April the company finally let everyone know what they were working on for Android. The preview of the application promised good things ahead and now the final version of the streaming software is finally available to download in the Google Play Store. Everything in Spotify for Android is new, since it's a "top-to-bottom redesign".
