Sony has started to roll out an update to its SmartWatch 2 application and, according to the official blog post, as well as the Google Play Store description, it should bring performance tweaks as well as improvements to your wrist. Specifically called out by Sony is the improved home screen swiping experience, which should be noticeable after the update is installed. Last week, Sony got us talking about smartwatches again, teasing an announcement to take place sometime around this week's Mobile Asia Expo. Well, MAE13 may not officially get started until tomorrow, but Sony's gone and jumped the gun a little, revealing its SmartWatch 2. While the first-gen SmartWatch used a 1.3-inch display, this new model pushes that up to 1.6 inches and bumps the 128 x 128 resolution up to 220 x 176.
