Yesterday afternoon we were looking at a leak out of HP, supposedly depicting an upcoming phablet from the company. Although all we had was one little low-res pic, it sure looked like it might be a six-inch device, and we had heard 5.5, 6, and 7-inch rumors attached to HPs plans. Today we finally start getting confirmation of just what it's been up to, as HP announces the Slate6 and Slate7 VoiceTab; no 5.5-incher this time. How long has it been since we've seen HP release a smartphone? Sure, there were those good old webOS days, but despite numerous rumors, claiming both Android and Windows Phone interest, in all the time that's followed the company's yet to release another handset. Instead, we've seen it focus on tablets, but rumors have recently begun suggesting that HP plans to release an actual phone (or phones).
