After a surprise introduction from Google's Executive Chairman, Eric Schmidt, waxing nostalgic on just how far smartphones have come, Motorola announced its new series of Droid RAZR Androids. First off, we've got the rumored RAZR HD, the "most compact big-screen smartphone". It's got a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD screen with supposedly 85% more color saturation than an iPhone 4S. It packs a 2500mAh battery, with 16 hours of rated talk time. Despite the large-ish battery, it's only 8.4 millimeters thick. Last week, it started becoming clear that Motorola's upcoming press event with Verizon might not be all about the Droid RAZR HD, after a couple signs of another model, the RAZR M 4G LTE, started arriving. The rumors about a Motorola XT907 have been quite popular, and here you have it. Inhale and repeat after me: Motorola RAZR M 4G LTE - now exhale! Call this the attack of the longest and stupidest names for a phone, and this new RAZR takes a big chunk of the cake. Now, all the bashing aside there are some good and bad things to report here. On the positive side, look at that insanely thin bezel! One of my biggest complaints about handling my Atrix HD is how thick the bezel is, but the engineering department got the complaint and fixed it with this future RAZR. Thin is kind of an ...
