Months ago, China was introduced to one glossy, glassy phone from Honor with two eyes and a young target. The US got to learn about the Honor 8 last week. This week, it's Europe's turn. Presentations have been made in London, Madrid and other locations for the Huawei P9 in Honor's clothing and we now know that pricing will start at £369.90 or €399 for the 32GB model. Everyone will be missing out, at least initially, on the 64GB version, priced at €449. The Euro pricing is identical to US pricing. Honor's website and the Huawei-run vMall will stock the devices first. vMall is ...

If you think that £750 was a bit over the top to fork over for a Windows 10 Mobile phone with a desk dock, well, Microsoft thinks so as well. Then again, maybe its lowering the price of the HP Elite x3 Business Pack because it had to move back its release date of the product. First boxes were supposed to hit the post today, but we're now seeing them going out on August 22. Furthermore, if you pre-order an Elite x3 right now, you'll be paying just a bit less than your fellow customers: £706.80 including VAT. What's four days between you and Microsoft? £43 and change, apparently. ...

Remember the Galaxy Note 7? From that Korean company? Well, wash your mind from that and just look at this jewel of a phone that will bring your "eyes to the world." It also brings Huawei and its affiliate, Honor, back to the US for another product launch. The Honor 8 was launched from an event in San Francisco and with a move in markets from China — where it sold 280,000 units in the first four hours of sales — to the US, the smartphone is definitely getting targeted toward the Samsung crowd. The company reminded us of how hip and young it is, — Honor's Global President George ...

With the HTC Vive getting an early advantage against the Oculus Rift on global sales, it's now time to see if the waiting has paid off. The Facebook-owned company has announced that pre-orders are up across the UK, France, Germany and Canada for its spotlight VR headset. Bundled along with the product is platformer "Lucky's Tale" and, of course, a media marketplace called the Oculus Store. Currys, John Lewis and GAME, along with London-based Harrods will stock the Rift in the UK while FNAC has France covered. MediaMarkt and Saturn will have the products in-store as well. You can order ...

What's a few days between a multinational tech conglomerate and its anticipating customers? Well, possibly a few weeks of shipping hassles. But if you're hitting your carrier up for an iPhone this September, you're probably going to have an easier time than most and without the wait until 3am Eastern/midnight Pacific. That said, it'd help if you could get an idea of how long you'll have to wait for your AT&T iPhone 7 (or 6SE). And 9to5Mac thinks it has an idea, thanks to a leaked AT&T store reset schedule. Two dates are listed on it: September 9, and September 23. The former ...

From our friends at the T-Mobile subreddit, we're getting word about some more Friends for the LG V20. Yep, that render we saw told a little too much about some potential modules coming into "Play". A poster who claims to have leaked some Galaxy Note 7 bonuses has decided to do it again for the V20. Based on a document they saw, — no visuals on the device — customers can start pre-ordering for the phone on September 14 and redeem one of three bonuses for doing so: "Extra battery and Enhanced Hand Grip" "Memory Module Attachment" A year of Hulu and three VUDU rentals — a T-Mobile ...

If it's taken our own Jaime Rivera pulling a weekend full of in-depth looks into what the Galaxy Note 7 can do with its S Pen and iris scanner to get you wanting a Note of your own, you might be the type who would want one fast. Our advice to you? Hop onto T-Mobile or Verizon. "Un-carrier" subscribers started getting charged for their purchases — T-Mo was the only carrier to primarily offer the Note 7 for a down payment, even to its well-qualified buyers — last week and at least one Coral Blue unit has started making its way to New York for one customer on the XDA forums. Verizon also ...

Ready to hop into the future? Yep, we're talking to you, too, Galaxy S6 owners (unfortunately, not the odd Note 4 peep). Well, Samsung's newest Gear VR headset is ready for you to snap up on Amazon for $99.99. Some distributors have had pre-orders since August 3, but for many US customers, this is the earliest they'll get. Sales officially begin a week from today on August 19. Watchmaker Fossil has been one of the more progressive and aggressive legacy companies (well, 1984 is "legacy" enough for us) to march into the wearable tech era. It acquired Misfit to get a jumpstart on fitness trackers and it even came out with the Android Wear-powered Q Founder. Well, the Q Founder is getting two partners this month — the Q Wander and Q Marshal. The big difference between the two? The Wander (right) has a curvier, well-finished case with "artfully sculpted" wire lugs while the Marshal's (left) case is more rugged. Straps are interchangeable and dial designs are ...

Distributor CDW is expecting to take in shipments of the Elite x3 into its warehouse starting August 11, but that doesn't mean we'll see the phone go out to customers then. It could, but with limited stock, it doesn't sound likely. Enter HP, the company behind the Windows 10 Mobile phone. A spokesperson has relayed to Windows Central that it will probably turn on the "Add to cart" button on its HP Elite x3 product page on September 5. In fact, the word "anticipated" was used. A prior email stated the device's pricing at $699 with a headphone/Desk Dock bundle at $799. Pre-orders (and even ...

Sprint has yet to announce anything regarding the Galaxy Note 7. Perhaps US Cellular might want to step into the space for a quick second. Being the fifth largest postpaid carrier in the US, its clout might not be up to, say, Verizon's par, but it can drive a deal if it wants to. With that said, we now know that the full price of the Note 7 will be $834 — that undercuts T-Mobile's pricing by $15. The carrier has installment plans lasting over 30, 24 or 20 months, so payments will range between $27.80 and $41.70. US Cellular is also promoting Samsung's offer of a free Gear Fit 2 or 256GB ...

The carrier song and dance continues on for the Galaxy Note 7. We have Blue and magenta covered, now it's time to paint the town red with checkmarks. A whole bunch of checkmarks. It seems that Verizon's press release is a little undercooked. In addition to the generic portion that talks about the device's features and specs along with Verizon's all-powerful LTE network, the tacked-on "Promotions and availability" section mentions the Note 7 as its internal codename: "Grace". So, what will be free with your pre-purchase of the Note 7 or Galaxy S7 edge? A free Gear Fit 2 or a Samsung 256GB ...

We just got done telling you about AT&T's price tag and bundles for the Galaxy Note 7. Now, let us walk to T-Mobile and talk about its orders of business with the new Samsung phablet. Oh yeah, and of course the company's lead product specialist Desmond Smith wants to unbox this thing — his way. Pre-orders for the Note 7 start from tonight at midnight Eastern at the Un-carrier's website for the 64GB model and will go on until sales officially kick off on August 19. The Blue Coral, Black Onyx and Silver Titanium colors will be available. In terms of cash money, the full monty's at ...

Correction: An earlier version of this article misstated the full retail price of the phone as $695. It is $880. AT&T is offering an account credit of $695 if customers buy a second, eligible Galaxy smartphone. Pocketnow regrets the error. If you've been following the rumors regarding the wheelings and dealings of carriers carrying the all-new Galaxy Note 7, you'll likely not be surprised at the United States's number two network making its pitch. Starting tomorrow, customers on AT&T can pre-order the Galaxy Note 7 in Blue Coral, Black Onyx and Silver Titanium at the price of $880. ...

Tomorrow morning is when the Galaxy Note 7 will become a known entity. Taiwan will see things kick off on Friday. And soon, the world. Given how Samsung has been able to claim domination with its Galaxy S7 releases this front half of the year, we wouldn't even bother piping in a high-pitched cackle. In fact, plans for the Note 7's launch seem a bit more calculated than maniacal. A Verizon Wireless employee has apparently tipped off PhoneArena on what the carrier's plans for the stylus-equipped phablet are in a memo which you can see below (with emphasis ours). "DATES: 8/2 – Samsung ...

Beyond the Unpacked event in New York on August 2, we haven't quite sussed out the dates for how sales for the Galaxy Note 7 will be handled. The best guess we have so far is that pre-orders will be open immediately after the launch. Beyond that, no one has a clue. Samsung is preparing Taiwan for a big Note 7-related happening on August 5 with a video teaser hinting at the device's water resistance. Of course, when we're talking about a different territory, it's probable that we're talking about a different timeline, so we can't confirm that global sales will start on the 5th. Perhaps ...

The hard grade of disbelief we give to budget phones out of China these days has to do with the fact that they have fingerprint sensors. Yeah, we know, kinda crazy. It takes a bit more than a few dollars, though, to not only get the component, but get it to work properly and in a decent fashion. Nevertheless, phone after phone in China has made it happen. ZTE is making it happen in the US with the debut of the spiritual successor to the ZMax 2, the ZMax Pro for MetroPCS. There's a six-inch, full HD display with a Snapdragon 617 and 2GB of RAM. The main camera has 13 megapixels of ...

Demand in Sweden for the HP Elite x3 has been pretty brisk. At least it was fast enough to bring delivery dates for the phone back by three days so far. HP is already selling the phone in its dual-SIM configuration for a nasty 8,624 kr ($1,009) at its site for Sweden. And people could order it and get it delivered as early as July 22 — a week from when it was first made available. Since then, the earliest deliveries have been pushed back to July 25. If you want your Elite x3 really early, be prepared to pay dearly. And pay more to get it moved to where you are. HP recently decided to ...

As with the Galaxy S7, it seems that pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 7 should be coming the moment the Samsung Unpacked event ends on August 2. It's only a rumor right now, but it shouldn't really matter when the pre-orders kick in as much as how much more we're getting if we decide to bite the bullet for a Note 7. What perks will there be? A wireless quick charger? A free clack-on keyboard or Gear VR headset? $50 off the retail price and some headphones? And, ultimately, how long will this pre-sale last? Those are some bigger questions we'll leave you with. Source: GalaxyClub Via: BGR

The phone comes inside a VR headset. What more can you ask for? Well, a lot, and we're finally able to tell you a lot about the Alcatel Idol 4S. It's a rather powerful mid-range phone that we've been waiting for since MWC and after some delay, it's finally ready for sale in the US. Not much has changed since our hands-on in February, including its Gothic and glassy build. It comes in any color you'd like, as long as it's dark gray. You'll find some reserved, but powerful 3.6W front-facing stereo speakers tuned by Waves Audio and certified by JBL, delivering some Hi-Fi noise to your ...
