Wither the pogo pins. Macotakara is reporting that the idea of Apple implementing its Smart Connector pins as seen on the original iPad Pro onto the iPhone 7 Plus has been shelved. We saw a suspicious looking picture from Bastillepost a while ago that showed off the Connector in composite with revised antenna lines and a dual-camera unit, both rumored for the aforementioned device. 9to5Mac is also throwing around the iPhone Pro as the non-candidate for the Smart Connector — we saw some schematics for a so-called device in a Japanese publication last week and they do look to match ...

Yep, we're talking about that thing you see close to this block of text. That so-called iPhone 7 design. We had our doubts about this very weird shell of a new iPhone, calling notes of the HTC One Max with the pogo pin connectors and the LG G5-style dual-camera housing. Of course, we've had to deal with Meizu jabbing at the media with recent antenna lining reveals. However, sources have been coming out of the woodwork to say that what we've been seeing was a prototype, codenamed "D10." The pogo pins and two rear cameras for the 4.7-inch version of the iPhone 7 have since been cancelled. ...

Some holes, like this one in Yellowstone National Park, are beautiful. But take a look at your phone or tablet. How many holes does it have in it? None of them are "pretty". Let's face it, they're eyesores. Holes seem like they are necessary components, but they do make your phone look ugly. Additionally, they're extra components which just add on to the cost of an already pricey piece of electronics. Let's count them, shall we?
